Day 1:

Alimos port is very convenient for people who want to combine sailing with sightseeing. Your first day of arrival can be combined with a City tour of Athens’ monuments and dinner or drinks with a view to the Acropolis. An alternative could be swimming at a blue beach of Athens’ Riviera and dinner at a seafront restaurant.  Enjoy a cocktail on-board at the end of the day.

Day 2:

Sail for about 47 miles to Kiato. You are going to cross the Korinthos canal, which was the ancient Greeks’ dream and was finally constructed in the 19th century, 18 centuries later. Kiato is a seafront town of 20.000 people already known from the ancient years as Sykeon.

Day 3:

Sail for approximately 30 miles to Galaxidi. Another town well known from the ancient years that played a role in the Independence War of new Greece.

Day 4

You are very close to Delphi, the famous temple of Zeus, where the oracle Pythia gave her prophecies. A visit to Delphi, by bus, is well worth your time.

Sail to Nafpaktos and Mesolongi.

Nafpaktos is a nice place to see, but there is no place for yachts in the small port. Have a look and continue on to Mesolongi. Find time to read the story of The Third Siege of Missolonghi from the Independence War.

Rio Bridge on your way near Mesonlogi.

Day 5:

Sail to Ithaki

Ithaki is the home of Odysseus, whose delayed return to the island is one of the elements of the Odyssey's plot.

Ithaki is not only a historical monument of Odyssey but a great place to swim and relax.

Day 6
